Clean Eating Weight Loss Meal Plan 21


Breakfast

Egg and Feta Wrap (recipe from this link)

This wrap was quick and tasty--perfect for breakfast. Love combining feta and eggs, because feta adds a natural saltiness. This was one of my favorite wraps, and I hope you like it too.




Mid Morning Snack

Walnut-Stuffed Dates (recipe here)

These were crunchy and sweet. Loved them! 

Not sure about you, but I have a sweet tooth, and these dates certainly satisfied my cravings.  You can use a different type of date, but I prefer medjool dates, because they are sweeter and softer than other kinds.

Lunch

Simple Shrimp & Avocado Salad (recipe here)

This salad was a refreshing idea! Loved the combination of shrimp and avocado, and the slight balsamic flavor tasted lovely too. 

The salad took little time to make--about five minutes or so--and was absolutely delicious. Everyone likes a quick and tasty lunch. I hope you enjoy the recipe as much as I did.

Afternoon Snack

Rainier Cherries

Rainier cherries are popular where I live--around the Seattle area. They were developed in 1952 at Washington State University, and are a across between Bing cherries and Van Cultivar. They are lighter in color, with a yellow-ish tint, and are considered premium type of cherry.

I prefer Rainier cherries over Bing because they are sweeter and juicier. They made a delectable afternoon snack.

Dinner

Stir Fry Ginger Pork (recipe from this link)

There's been debate about pork not considered as clean eating. I'd like to express my opinion that pigs are among the cleanest of animals. The reason why they roll around in dirt is to keep themselves cool and protect themselves from getting a sunburn. As long as the pork you use is from pigs that eat clean, natural and organic food, you can consider pork as clean eating.

Today's stir fry ginger pork is a traditional Asian dish that my family makes all the time. It has the sweetness of oyster sauce, as well as the mild spiciness of ginger. 

Great flavor! I highly recommend it.
