Breakfast

Scrambled Egg White with Fresh Pico de Gallo

Pico de gallo, also known as salsa fresca or fresh salad, is a traditional Mexican dish consisting of tomatoes, onions, chilli and herbs. It's refreshing, delicious and certainly clean. Also, it goes well with eggs. 

If you feel that scrambled egg white is too plain, add a spoonful of pico de gallo, like I did today. Your plain egg white will instantly become more exciting.




Mid Morning Snack

Apple Slices Dipped in All-Natural Peanut Butter

So good! I had seconds.




Lunch

The best recipes are the easiest.

Today's clean eating lunch was so easy to make yet so good! Loved the combination of chicken, cheese and lettuce. I highly recommend it.

Garlic Shrimp and Green Beans (recipe here)

I'm a seafood lover--and I especially love shrimp. So glad shrimp is low in calories and full of antioxidants. It's perfect for clean eating.

Tonight's clean eating dinner was a scrumptious stir fry of shrimp and green beans. It was full of flavor and a great idea for the entire family. 

I laid mine over a bed of organic brown rice. The shrimp and rice tasted so good together.
